WOO-HOO!! I've gotten so tired of calling that darn 800 number and hearing the same statement "something, something, but no scheduled production date". I about shit myself this morning when I heard "your car is in production with a scheduled completion date of July 31"!!!!! Going to be calling my SA this morning. The MyBMW site still shows order documented, hopefully that will catch up today. The hard part of this will be our delivery. Scheduled to arrive in Brunswick Ga (about 50 miles south of us) only to be hauled up to Gwinnett Ga (about 300 miles North of us). And drive right by the house!

Not yet. Ship's supposed to hit Baltimore today at 1900. Then Brunswick Tuesday/Wednesday. Hoping, if everything works correctly, to pick the car up Monday 1 Sept. We'll be in Greenville SC next weekend, which is only 120 miles from the dealership (better then the 300 from my house). Still have no confirmed word on if the Monroney is accepted yet on the car. I get 10 different answer's when I talk with BMWNA. Yet the certification was completed by the EPA/CARB on 22 May at the same time as the M3/M4. We'll see soon enough.

And again the wrong term in the technical specs that the S55 is 10kg/22lbs. lighter than the old S65 ... it isn't, the official weight of the S55 is 205kg and the official weight of the S65 was all the time 202kg ... so the old S65 is indeed a little bit lighter than the new S55 !!!
