Well, I guess I don't understand the full definition then ... I always thought "priority 1" meant options ordered by a customer (as opposed to a dealership) and sometimes have a cost and sometimes not.

Priority 1 means it is a customer ordered car and has nothing to do with options or their cost. Individual colors on the configurator are $1950, which is $1400 over the $550 for normal metallic paint.

I was "thisclose" to getting mine in SMB, but went with the LeMans after losing unacceptable amounts of sleep. You will absolutely love it - SMB is simply a stunning color.

In the US market BMW offers a selection of "P-1" priority paints that are pre-approved not standard palette offerings, for $1,950. In essence, a pure money grab . US customers are also charged $550 for any standard color other than Alpine White.

I'm quite jealous of the £1575 w/tax cost for full individual. In the UK I'll bet that the base price equivalent in USD much more than makes up for this ~~ $2,300. With tax in my state at 7% the # looks like this - $5,350, or £3,593 today.

Base UK is 46,362.50 pounds without tax = $68,867.33 (today's rate). Still more expensive than the US and with tax, which is right on top, it's 57,050 pounds = $84,748.26, so yeah...it's hella more expensive. Granted, we get a few standard things above the US, and don't have to worry about all encompassing packages, but that's irrelevant. When it comes to it, the Euro is what matters, and BMW gets 63,480 Euro for UK cars, and 59,164.80 for US cars at today's exchange, minus whatever for dealer markups and whatnot. I have no idea what UK invoices are...seems hard to find, so whether the dealerships have similar markups in both locations...I don't know.

It's a shame Bimmerpost seems to put more emphasis on the US. I've seen some UK things, but given the audience and their locations...it should cover all of it. I'm from Chicago and now seeing how things are on the other side of the fence. It sucks.

The difference is made up by the sheer volume of cars it will sell here vs. in the UK. Hence probably why they have to upcharge the UK to make up for the lower volume. I'm too lazy to look up numbers but I'm sure someone can substantiate this.

plus the UK gets all of the cars that miss quality control - in some cases the entire interiors are backwards

Hello all, this is my first post but I have been checking this forum for quite a while. I have an M3 ordered and my CA has priced me $5,900 for the individual contrast stitching on full leather. I also have the Executive Package which should discount the interior cost down to $4,950, but he disagrees with me. I see a few of you have also ordered the same option and have got the $950 executive credit. Is my salesman trying to pull a fast one or is he just not aware of individual pricing?

Send me your email address in a PM. I will forward you the email I received from the SA at BMW Individual who told me they would reduce the cost $950 when paired with executive package.

In short - your car is either a) misinformed or b) pulling a fast one. My guess is (a).

So I also received a $950 credit for my Individual Full Leather with Sakhir Orange contrast stichting paired with the Executive package. My CA was unaware of it though and I had to inform him and send him proof of clients who were given the credit. Came out to $4,950. I will be picking the car up tomorrow morning and will post some pics. Thanks again to HamsF80 for the help!

So, I want to order my M4 with Individual Golden Brown OR Amaro Brown interior and I am still not finished with my decision BUT with executive package added the total says $1350 for extended. My question is, there is no additional charge on the car because of me doing this one individual interior option correct? That price is the price.

Also how much is the full option of these individual interiors and does anyone know the invoice prices for ED?

If I do FULL does it include the dash like in this picture posted by another member here? User brianeck want to chime in? I love how your interior dash also

Yes, you have to get full to get the stiching on the dash and door panels like you see in the picture.

Strange how individual does the dash when full leather but in the visualizer regular colors such as Sakhir Orange do not to the dash in full. Sakhir just gets a stripe across the dash. Is this a perk of individual where the dash is also leather?

No, the dash is leather as long as you have full leather - do not need Individual. Below is full black.

I understand that the dash is leather as long as you have full. What I am talking about is the COLOR of it.

I should have stated it a bit better but see in the picture I posted above, the entire glovebox is the color of Amaro brown where in the visualizer if I did FULL SHAKHIR ORANGE leather, the glovebox area is half black and half red. It is BLACK glovebox and a stripe of Red above more towards the dash, where as I want the entire glovebox area to be one color, if that makes sense?

You will need to order full individual if you want the lower half of the dash in the same color, otherwise regular full leather you will only get the stripe.

Sorry guys I hadn't seen this post.

Actually, technically my leather as show in that picture is "Extended Amaro Brown" and then there is another option ticked off that says "Full Leather Dash." This amounts to almost the same thing as "Full Leather."

Apparently with the full standard colored leather your door card also ends up covered in leather, and mine isn't. . . Maybe someone else can chime in to that degree? From my other pics you can see where the leather on my door ends.

The same would hold true for Gold Brown as well. Technically the individual colors are "Extended" with some other bits that end up being the interior color as well. A Fully Individual interior would have every single bit the specific color you order it, without the black contrast.

There is a picture of my window sticker attached to that post as well so you can see what the breakdown looks like.

This is because of what I mentioned in the post above. The "semi individual colors" are actually extended leather, NOT full. Then the "Full Leather Dashboard" option gets ticked, which changes the leather color to whatever was selected instead of black. Its one of the little added benefits of paying up for the semi individual interior.
