What sucks about the M4 is that you might have to go with a expensive exhaust to get a clean sound. its much harder to make a V8 sound bad, which is why you could do a muffler delete on the E92 and it will sound great. This car would sound like a honda with a muffler delete.

ridiculous pricing IMO. helpful tip from one that has Eisenmann exhaust and DPs on our little e89, buy DPs instead - more power, great sound (we have ceramic coating and race cats) and about $1k. if vanity and bags of money are your deal, buy the EVO with the diff for $8k. I would rather the CCBs if I were going to burn a $8k bill

Wow, looks amazing but definitely too pricey.
I guess I'm going to wait a little longer before I consider changing the exhaust. $3,000 was a budget I had in mind but I think I'm going to have to reconsider that.

Pretty killer looking but I'd wait to see the Eisenmann system before deciding.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people give that company a pass on willful and unabashed intellectual property theft.

This is likely due to the phenomenon of people comparing exhaust sound clips recorded with cellphones. It just doesn't work. For instance, anyone who's heard an E60 M5 in person and compared it to a YouTube clip recorded on someone's iPhone knows what I'm talking about.

I bet when everyone's prices are out Akra won't be as out of line as most make them out to be. Look at how much a Mistershaft system costs, questionable R&D, contracted Korean production, label branding and how much do you save? Sound is subjective, but engineering and quality much less so.

LOL @ the price. For my E90...the slip-on was $3200 installed and I already felt ripped off back then! Exhaust prices are getting way out of hand. It's now almost $4600 for slip-on, LOL WTF.

Do those Ti tips fit onto the F10 M5 exhaust system?

I literally just heard this and saw it in real life about 30 minutes ago, and the videos and pictures don't even do it justice.
It's well out of my price range, but it is a DAMN GOOD sounding exhaust. I liked it a lot.

On a serious note...video clips don't do the exhaust demos justice you do really need to hear it for yourself to make a decision. I am impressed with what I have on my stock M4, but I want more! |

Does anyone know how much weight is saved and HP gained for the full system over stock? Oh yeah and will the CEL come on with the full system this go around?
I do like it a lot. |
