M logo on the seat

Is there any coding that can be done to make the M logo lights up all the time instead of just lights up when you enter the car.

Because you can see them when you're sitting in the seats?

To replace EACH logo, parts alone is $150. I would hate for the light to burn out.

I would like the exact opposite and never light them up (while retaining welcome lights)

Yes supposedly they are linked to the welcome lights, which are the bright LEDs that shine on the ground from the door handle to aid entry and exit in the dark. I recently had them replaced under warranty cause mine were the silver ones that were all peeling and cracking and they replaced them with the black LCI ones for free. SA said it was a couple hours labor to install them since you have to take part of the seat apart. I would imagine there is some sort of electrical relay to get them to stay on but they probably wouldn't cover them under warranty then, and I doubt the solution would be elegant to say the least.
