Anyone have the AWRON gauge?

Hi All,

Does anyone have the AWRON gauge for the M4?

The reason I am asking is I just received mine (have to go pick it up at my Mom's Place) and I am hoping to install ASAP and if you do, I just want to know how difficult it was to install and get some help if I have any problems installing it.

If you have the DIY skills for it, we have an install guide posted here for you or your installer if you should choose to go that route:

Hi,

I was checking out your DIY which by the way was excellent and detailed but, I didn't see a place for a USB cable to update the unit or a USB connection to update it. Does it come with a cable? And if the USB connect is on the back of the unit should we fish though like the wire harness?

The cable is a USB male type, about 36" in length.

I tuck the cable underneath the center console on the pass side to make it easy to without the need for taking anything apart.

So I would have to buy the cable, and does it install in the back of the unit?

Nothing else is needed, the cable is part of the harness and will plug into your laptop.

I was waiting to see if it could do something with the cold start yet which obv it can't. but it does have the valve control now which is cool. I think ill wait till jan though I want to do some more research

Sounds like a plan but I couldn't wait, I needed the boost gauge and some other options it has for doing some future tuning.

Im sure there will be some new exciting firm ware coming out for this thing all the time which is exciting! looking forward to hearing your thoughts once you get around to installing it!

i was thinking about this or the P3 gauge. But I hear they have issues with piggybacks?

The current Awron firmware was made to be fully compatible with JB4, we've tested this extensively on our dyno. There is also a passive mode option in the config menu for datalogging.

I have P3 and Dinan tune. No issues.
