Blackvue 750S 2ch installed.

Just finished installing the Blackvue 750s w/ Blendmount + Cell Link B 2nd Gen into my M4. Install took about 2 hours fiddling with things and trying to get the wires nice and tucked. Overall very pleased with all the products and install. Honestly the most annoying part of the install is just tucking in all the wires, especially the coaxial cable to the rear camera due to it being very long.

Cell link B is tapped using an mini add-a-fuse from blackboxmycar to fuse 125 (emtpy).

Sample Footage (Edit: sorry, but you will have to bare with my terrible choice in music):

For reference, my front windshield is 80% tint and my rear windshield is 15% tint.

Final installed pics:

All the items for the install:

Power magic pro came with the dashcam for free. I opted to use the cell link b battery, so this was unused.

Nice clean install
How stable is the blend mount at holding the camera still, do you get any camera vibration on bumpy or rough roads?

thanks! the blend mount is good. you can check out the sample footage and judge for yourself. i think it does a pretty good job of being stable. just gotta make sure you tighten it well.

I have to swap my blackvue over from my e92 soon. Thank you, I was trying to figure out which fuse to use. Any pics of the celllink b hardwire? I know blackboxmycar recommends using the cigarette socket for blackvue instead.

no pics, but yes, basically the cell link B has a female cigarette socket and the blackvue has the male socket. The cell link B from blackboxmycar has an option of an "add a fuse", which they recommended me the mini fuse. the acc wire goes from the cell link b into the fuse tap, then into fuse 125. the ground i just bolted into the bolt right in the fuse box location.

Completely misunderstood that originally. Makes perfect sense now, thanks!

Nice install, the blend mount is very clean. I have a similar setup and found the cell link to be entirely unnecessary. Never had a low battery issue and I've had it installed since November of last year. Just food for thought.

From what i read before purchasing, the benefits of using the battery was to reduce constant drain from the car battery itself (which shortens the lifespan and very costly to replace) as well as no error codes?

I guess this wouldn't work with a blend mount installed?

Yeah sorry, I already have a blend mount for radar. Are there other mounting options if that is the case for the blackvue?

You could also mount it the stock way, which is double sided tape on the windshield. I have a Blackvue 650S and it is solid via the tape.

yeah, regular mounting via double sided tape works if you already are using a blendmount for something else.

i have front windshield window tints, so i didn't want to tape anything on it in case it damages the tint itself. so i got the blendmount for it. Not sure what to do about a radar detector if i want to use one alongside the blackvue

So if you have tint on the rear, we should get the blendmount?

I also have tint on my rear window. I stuck the rear camera on the third brake light housing.

Is a 64GB memory card more than enough?

yeah, i believe it is. you are really only going to need enough space for your dashcam to record something happening. its not supposed to be like a go pro for constant footage for you to look at. you can also lock "event" files too, so if it keeps recording new footage it will never record over those.
