The Silverstone is my favourite colour along with Austin Yellow. I also like the white seats. The sunroof is also cool.

I probably don't want to spend any more than this.

The fact that it comes with a year and a half BMW warranty is appealing.

Any opinions on this car?
you're better off asking on m3cutters.co.uk as you're from the UK

So I went for a test drive, the car is brutal at higher speeds.

This may be sacrilege but my remapped 330D feels quicker at regular road legal speeds, it pushes me harder into my seat for 90% of driving conditions. Must be all that torque. I think you really have to drive like a lunatic to enjoy the M3 performance, licence revoking speeds.

The M3 also has that droning noise which could get annoying after a while. I can see why one of the posters kept his F30 328i as a daily.

I'm not ruling it out but it has changed my perception of performance cars.

Nice to see the difference and appreciate the performance when you need it. I like having the option in the morning f30 or f80.

Maybe what you heard is the fake ASD (active sound design) sound which IMO is a little too intrusive. I coded it off (you can also unplug the plug in the trunk). Now I hear the real sounds of intake and exhaust and, with the roof closed, I travel in peace.

The owner told me it was off. Quite a few reviewers have said it is generally noisy inside the cabin due to less noise insulation.

Maybe in my pre fatherhood days this car would be great. The owner is selling due to having a small child.

Part of me still thinks to give it a go. It has one and a half year's warranty left so I could always thrash it about a bit and sell after a year and not lose too much on it. Can always buy another F30 330D/335D again or even a Tesla.

This alone makes it a decent buy. You can drive worry free for a year and replace anything you want through BMW.

Gorgeous color combo. I'm not too keen on the sunroof but seems like the roof was wrapped black so it hides it pretty well.

I would say check the car out, check for any leaks/noises on your test drive.

Some typical leak points are the top mount intercooler, valve cover gasket, and oil filter housing.

Low mileage or (kilometers) for the year.

Seems like this is your next car, my friend.

I didn't get the car. I chickened out and regret it big time!

The car had 18 months of warranty left and was a great price, I could have just kept it for a year and sold it. Damn. The colour was excellent as well.

Oh well lesson learned.

I've found a place where I can rent one for the day so I'll give that a try. It'll give me the true feel of the car rather than a 10 minute test drive.
