Cut off date for European Delivery?

My GF plans to order an F80 in February, if everything goes well, and do ED mid August. If I remember correctly June/July 2018 is EOP for the F80, so I'm hoping February isn't too late since it'll be individual interior and exterior. But it seems that the build generally take about 4 months, so that would put it right in June/July timeframe.

Anybody know when the cut off date is for orders?

Thanks.

Production ends in October, so she should be fine. See this post: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=901686

fwiw, August is just about the worst time to be driving in Europe. The whole continent shuts down for vacation and everyone is on the move. If your GF can delay until early-September, it will be much more enjoyable.

So true. We just did an ED a few weeks ago and it was one of the most pleasant europe trips we've had.

Place is like Disneyland during the summer.

Ditto. We did ours beginning of October and had no regrets whatsoever

Although it was a bit cold in the first week of October. I think early Sept would be optimal.

Oh ok, good to know that the order should be fine.
Week of August 15th is about the only week our schedules align together, so don't have much choice on that front, I'll see if there's anything to do about pushing for September.
Thanks for the heads up though guys.

Factory will be closed then, so your production will be July. Germany should be fine in August, but Italy will be nuts.

I think we'll be going for Geneva or Netherlands. Saving Italy for another trip. Either way, should be fun.

You should be fine. Trust me, I take a minimum of 4 vactions per year to Europe, but I choose wisely.

Ibiza is right. Just chose wisely as he said. Switzerland should be fine. Netherlands not so much. A lot of Dutch and Brits travel with "caravans" - small camping trailers. It can be nuts. And yes . . . any way you do it, it will be fun and an unforgettable experience!

Shooting for low excitement for the trip, huh? Good idea.

According to the new Grand Tour episode, they have a nice chess and pencil museum in Switzerland

Yeah, Geneva's can get PRET-ty raucous - occasionally I've seen a financial analyst loosen their tie after four pm ... of course they're out of a job the next day, but HEY: better to blaze out than fade away, man.
