Yeah, almost went to Julian yesterday from SD, but it was too hot. Got 1900 miles on my M4. You won't notice any change once you take it in for service, performance stays the same contrary to some of the rumors.

This is news to no one who's previously owned an M-car so I'm sure the OP knows this. Not noticing a change is incorrect though for anyone who follows the factory recommended break in procedure.

Picked mind up on tuesday and already halfway there, this break in goes really fast!
Anyway, well done! Soon you can feel it's true potential.

Agreed, but looks like there's a lot of folks that didn't own and M before based on all the comments on this board. Myself included. Along with my salesman who thinks the break in service unleashes another 50 hp.

Oaked Arrogant Bastard from Stone. Excellent gotta try it. Cool weather beer almost 100 degrees in San Diego today. Huge beer fan. IPA's and sours my favorite. If you know sours you know what I'm talking about.

Heard this from my salesman and BMW genius. I can't comprehend the lack of knowledge from people selling these things. I hear the X1 gets a 300HP boost after break in and no longer looks like a station wagon.

Dude you are so much more economical than I am. I almost envy you.

Op: we care! At least I care, since the option is listening my shopping partner talking about horses without an engine to extract them from.
