Took delivery at Welt with my wife on Tuesday. Went through Stelvio Pass, spent a couple days in Lake Como and now off to Parma until Friday. We are then heading to the French Riviera for a few more days.

This car is amazing! Smooth power and the sound is intoxicating. Love the contrast of silverstone and black. It's been a blast so far. More photos to come.

Congrats, those pics (and the car) are awesome, you are definitely doing things right. I'll be doing ED next July and seeing this makes it hard to wait. If I decide YMB is too loud I might have to switch it up to BSM -- gorgeous

They only stop the local crackhead, if someone wants to steal your wheels they are not more difficult to remove than the standard bolts.

Thanks guys. Just got back from the police station here in Parma. I'm working with the BMW insurance they provide through European delivery now to get a tow truck and a rental car. It's been an adventure, that's for sure.

And yeah, the wheels had locks. But that certainly didn't stop them! Just as disturbing is that they tried to pry off the spoiler lip and cause some damage to the trunk lid.

Oh well not much I can do now.
