They need to give people a compelling reason to buy the LCI...how else, but with LED lights?

I'm sorry but M4 looks like a joke right next to Z06.
It is hard to concentrate on any of the other releases at the show. The Z06 just absolutely stole the show today. It is unreal.

Ever since I was a kid, every M3 launch got me so excited. This one is barely peaking my interest. Maybe I have owned too many BMW's?

can any explain all these console buttons?
1. Traction Control Disable
2. HUD???
3. Dynamic Damper Control Adjustment
4. Electric steering weight???
5. Front parking camera
6. Parking Assist

Traction control/DSC, throttle, suspension, steering, (unknown), and back-up camera/PDC. Maybe they separated the camera and the PDC buttons on the new ///M cars. On the F-Series it's all one button (..the last button in the row), but it looks like there is a separate camera button on the new ///M.
I think the camera button is for the side view cameras you see in front of the wheels

Sits too high

I still have some issues with the cars. I believe the cars should sit lower, there just seems to be too much of a 'fender gap'. Also, I think the wheels are wrong for this car. It just doesn't seem to work. I hope that BMW will offer other wheel options from launch.

I also still have a real problem with the 'cupholder' area of the interior, it just looks too cheap. For me it's a real eyesore. I had hoped M would have made some changes here. Covered the area with CF ie M6.

However, on a positive note, it seems that the sports seats sit quite low in the car. One issue I have always had with my previous e46 M3 was the high seating position. I never felt I was part of the machine. More sitting on top of it.

Car looks gorgeous! Could it use some mods? Yes for sure especially a proper drop, but definitely best picture representation of the M4 so far...

I agree, I have been reading up on the Z06 since yesterday and completely forgot about the Ms.

Any information on pricing? I read somewhere it will be announced at a "later date", but what is the later date? In a day or two, or a month or two?

My '08 E92 doesn't have it. Underhood insulation is for noise control - not really a goal on this already quiet engine. Also, you want to let all the heat that can escape from the hood, especially with turbos.

I don't know about this new M engine, but the 2.8i X1 sounds like a diesel and I wouldn't call it quiet...

Probably the best combo of the limited palette thus far. Would be Sahkir Orange leather but close enough to red. Mineral grey would also be nice outside with SO.

I'd order one today, if they would only fill in that gap around the grills. Aftermarket potential perhaps?
