Give the op a break as he/she has the car, has heard the car in person and has driven the car. Most of us have only seen pics and/or video with poor sound quality and at best, saw the car at a car show. Maybe some of you don't know or forgot but Ferrari has in the past and currently offers a turbo enhanced motors of which you may or may not have heard.

I don't want to show the engine bc it's not a real m4... It's a replica car.. That's why I'm "withholding" google m4 engine and you will see 100 pics.

The ket fob cover is something I purchased separately for my e92 when I had it.

Second, I would like to make note of a very cool feature non of you knew about... The interior door trim lighting can be changed from orange to white. VERY cool feature.

Oh sweet, that's it. Ya at 4:50 it sounds like Porsche a bit and the second just sounds head turning. I drive a lot in the windy mountains in the bay area where I hear this sound coming from Porsches, Lambo's, Ferrari's... everybody. Most of the time I can tell what car it is. This would be nice to hear. Still could use a meatier sound, but for that they need a bigger engine . I wish they'd do a 3.5L or 3.6 like GTR.

The structural integrity goes down significantly when it's not one piece. Then as the other member mentioned, the additional weight of other structure needed for housing the glass makes the weight savings almost worthless. The benefit comes from having just one thin solid sheet for the roof.

Now, there should be a carbon fiber roof on the convertibles since they are hard top. In fact, I've seen one once, but I'm not sure if it was just a panel they put on. It looked factory.

There is definitely videos like this that show CF cutouts. Not really shown well if that in the first one, but there are multiple videos broken down into parts.

Have you considered if there isn't a weight savings (which is definitely so), what about the increased stiffness of the frame versus using regular sheet metal with the sunroof cutout? Also the coolness factor?

How about if they did something like in the attached image for example with the M3/M4? That image is from a 3rd party, not manufactured by BMW obviously.
