[VIC] FS: Genuine BMW M Performance Exhaust for F80 M3 F82 M4

Hi guys,

Selling a lightly used (3000km's) Genuine M Performance muffler and 4 x Genuine MPE carbon tips

I don't have the 2 long pipes from engine to muffler, just what is pictured, rear muffler and tips attached. You will be able to buy the long pipes separately or modify your existing pips to match, as they are just pipes.

2 of the tips have light scratches that may polish/cut out of the clear, but they were behind the bumper underneath so can't be seen once fitted, so didn't bother me.

I'm interested and in Melbourne. Did you have this fitted to standard mid pipes that were modified to suit or something else?

Best to ring BMW if you'd like genuine as I don't know.

Alternatively any competent exhaust shop could modify your standard system with matching couplers/flanges to allow you to fit this, and then you could still return to stock if you wanted later on.

Was part of an insurance claim, so not needed as I already have an MPE.

LOL Insurance money, I was wondering why your only selling this rear half. Having an exhaust shop weld on some pipes might not give you that oem m performance sound - it should give it a louder sound

It would be perfectly fine. These are road cars, not F1 cars. The difference would be imperceivable to the human ear.

Surely you can obtain the missing parts from BMW and combine for a complete EOM system?

Thanks mate. Still a fair bit for the pipes it sounds like. Just had to buy the wife a new X1 so will have to put it on hold for now! Cheers anyway.

Just out of curiosity as I can't tell from the images.

Do you need to attach:

A. the factory stock valve controllers this muffler or
B. do they have them already attached or
C. do not have valves and run straight through

You would fit your factory valve controllers to this, or run it straight through, whichever you prefer.
