F82 from XENON to retrofit LED Headlights

Hi All

When I bought my M4 by mistake I forgot LED Headlights and I wish to put them on , it there a way to check if it can be done on my car ?? Dealer is helpless about it , maybe with VIN number can someone help ? and what is the procedure and hardware needed including software for coding

It has been done before but not cheap. You may search the forum and find many threads on this topic.

Just stick with HID. They're just as good as LED. Spend the money else where.

No they are not. Not even close.

That's being what it is, not sure worth the retrofit cost.

Well I know they are whiter and brighter then HID. But with HID's they are just as bright and white. As long as you don't have halogen then you're good. Is it worth it to retrofit to led. Nope. Like I said use your money else where.

LED vs Xenon is about the same as Xenon vs halogen. Side by side, the xenons almost look yellow compared to the white LED's. It's amazing.

I had the retrofit done on my previous 4 series. Led are about 2.6-3k with modules. My friend installed it for me and I had it coded remotely

I have the Adaptive Xenon in my F80, and the LEDs in my Q50. The LEDs put out a cleaner/brighter light, but it's not so much better that I want to go through the trouble of retrofitting. Try different bulbs/ballasts first, if that doesn't make you happy then go for the retrofit.

Let us know how it goes.
