Scratched bootlid - can I fix this?
I came out to my car today and noticed this circular scratch on my bootlid - no idea how it got there and the rest of the car is untouched. I have already used a cleaner wax on it before I took this picture - it made it look better than it did but it still looks like this.
Is this something I can fix myself with limited detailing knowledge? If so what would I need to do it?

I would bring it to a reputable detailer, or if you can handle it yourself, you would need a machine polishing (orbital) compound and polish and the correct pads.

Sorry to see that. As above, you will need a random orbital buffer and a fairly aggressive polish to lessen that scratch.

Looks intentional, manmade - like someone keyed it or scratched it with something. Hope the repair goes well.
