I'm seeing that too. Sometimes the Rpms are off but in this case only one set of lines cross at all

Because the horsepower and torque graphs on each side of the chart are not scaled the same

Different scales on each side, one for HP on left, and one for torque on right. Confusing, and still not a perfect match, but much closer.

We never release a product until it is thoroughly tested and validated. In order to do that all of our software undergoes significant long temr on-road and dynamometer testing. This allows us to expose the car to all of the conditions and usage we expect these cars to see when they are in the hands of our customers.

In other words, if the car were too run fat or too lean (for any unforeseen reason) or if the car were to approach the upper limits of its cooling efficiency, would your tune be able to cut back on timing/fuel/boost; etc and stay at a reduced level until the engine is back to normal operating standards and temps?
This is an important question (so thanks for asking):

All of the factory "component protection" built into the ECU by BMW remain fully intact and completely functional.
With our method of tuning, and the criteria we impose on ourselves for drivability, consistency, and long term reliability, it's simply not an option or a necessity.

Currently bench flashing only happens at our facility in Southern California.

We do have a number of dealers we are in the process of providing our bench flashing equipment to, and once they are properly equipped and trained we will make formal announcements for each one.

Sorry guys ... here's the exact same dyno with the scaling matched.

Data is all the same: (just easier to read!)
His ACTUAL RESULTS Stage ONE:
Peak Gains of 72whp / 113wtq
Max Gains of 104whp @ 4,900rpm / 123wtq @ 4,100rpm

I happened to drive a particular Austin Yellow VF tuned car yesterday (I believe the same one pictured in the video). I just went up and down the street probably one mile but here are my quick impressions. The overrun sounds cool as heck. It seemed smoother and torqueier than my jb4 car with 91 octane + 4.5 gallons e85 on Map 2 with DP's and intake (his car is all stock just flash and had 91 octane only). I only got to around 5000ish rpm on his car as I didn't have enough room to play around. We are gonna try and meet up again before he heads back to cali.

His car
16 m4 dct
91 oct
BBS FI-R with 265/305 pilot sport cups
pss10's

My car
16 m4 dct
91 oct/4.5 gallons e85
bmw intake
VSFR downpipes
JB4 map 2
OEM 19's 275/295 mpss

Sounds like you ran into Tyson!

I know he brought the vBox out with him. Did you guys get in some runs or numbers?

Tyson and I did a couple quick pulls after he got the tune on, 2nd gear rolling pull at 20 mph... He pulled hard against my GIAC stage 1 F80 with full Akrapovic exhaust w/downpipes. Very curious to see how he fairs against JB4

Was it a traction issue or does his car have more power you think? His car felt like it was more planted than mine. don't know if it was more traction or his suspension

It's probably the Sport Cup 2s... Those tires are insane, they hug the ground like no other. We had these tires on our former shop car. Once the tires are heated up, it's very difficult to lose traction

Last (and very important) question! Will you guys' flashes have the ability to toggle the Exhaust flaps open and closed like on the JB4!? If yes that'd be the potential "game changer" for me!
