Ball Hair comment FrankMstein .. The way you phrased it all. Have a few corners that do that to me too.

Cheers sir.

Only camber plates, PS4S, and brakes = 1:43 @CMP? I have to witness this magic. That would mean I left a whole portion on the plate or camber plates transform the car or they are "all that" on this car. I'm at 1:51 at 7-8/10ths with a student showing how smooth I can be and coaching. Maybe I need to kick that student out and...push more!? People with track prepped and R compounds are in the low 40's. Not to say it's not impossible, maybe I can learn something I was doing wrong as is always the case.

Didn't expect to run COTA again for 2022, but the Edge Addicts event in late December had the field thin out toward the end of Sunday so they were kind enough to let me hop in for 2 sessions. Nabbed my goal of going under 2:30 on stock power and 275 square 200tw. I have really come to enjoy the RE 71RS on days where you can keep them from heat soaking. This was a nice end to my year and now I feel I have earned the move to a higher grip tire.

Was at Watkins Glen for the past few days with Ferrari Club. Some nice hardware there including Challenge cars, GT3 race cars and even an LMP prototype (9:00 mark in the video if you want to see the speed difference).

Managed to improve my lap time with a sub 2:10 on seven day old NT01s that were replaced midway through the event.

2:09.53 - Dvas OG M2 6MT (Nitto NTO1 275 square, Bilstein B16 PSS10, GC Camber Plates, PFC08)

I saw a G80 last year do a 1:58, no aero, no stripping, stock suspension/brakes/wheels, just A7 tires and plenty of power.

Very cool! Big boys track...

I went to Road Atlanta in August with BMW Peachtree, hottest weekend of the season, a real scorcher, and my first time there. First thing you see when you pull up is Turn 12, and I knew that one was trouble. Started in Novice (they said because no track experience), and ended up in their B group. Had an instructor in the car both days. He wasn't to keen for me experimenting with things, but I would have liked to. As hot as it was over the weekend, on Sunday afternoon we had a huge thunderstorm come in, soaked us to the bone and some of the gear. And I drove home with a nail in a rear tire.

Anyway, with all the excuses filed, the best I could do under the circumstances was 1:44:09. Can't wait to go back!

Had an opportunity to run with G82's, they are just a tad bit faster on the straights (I am running BM3 Stage 1).

Camber plates are an absolute must. The Cup 2s are good for 1 maybe 2 good fast laps and then their pace falls off hard. Not a great tire for repeated flying laps.
