Colour combo is great. As for de badging very common in the UK too - my Dad checked it off on his 320i back in '94. Saw a good number in a recent visit.

With that said the M3 badging you have on the rear looks perfect with the MG paint. Congrats, as others have noted great photos and write up!

Great pics! I was very surprised by the attention my M got in Germany as well.... and i also noted the lack of M cars in general.

I cannot overstate how much I love that MG/GB combo with the anthracite wood AND 6MT...so, so, so classy. Beautiful pictures.

I was just in Munich a few weeks ago and saw a fair number of F10 wagons. I would love to get my wife in a 535 touring, though I know that the US's SUV loving society (Hell they even build them locally for us in SC) won't support the import.

F11's are the wagon equivalent of the F10. I think he meant performance editions wagons. An F11 550D is the closest thing BMW has to a performance wagon. Audi RS and Chrysler SRT are the only two that i know of that produced performance edition wagons in Germany.

Local dealer does not offer ED with M cars. AB Banat at Long Beach gave me a great deal, no BS, great to work with.
