Colour combo is great. As for de badging very common in the UK too - my Dad checked it off on his 320i back in '94. Saw a good number in a recent visit.
With that said the M3 badging you have on the rear looks perfect with the MG paint. Congrats, as others have noted great photos and write up!

Thanks for sharing your journey! Beautifully documented! Congrats on the car! You are making me so impatient for my trip for our f80 on sept 3rd. I'll be sure to put up our trip on here and share with the community, though my camera skills are well short of yours or your son's...

Beautiful car. I love the color combination. Looks like you had a blast and got home safe. Great pictures. Maybe one day I will do ED. Drive it safe and in good health

" Audi wagons: Given BMW has basically ceded the high-performance wagon market to Audi, it’s no surprise we saw many RS wagons and similar variants. They look pretty good."
I was just in Munich a few weeks ago and saw a fair number of F10 wagons. I would love to get my wife in a 535 touring, though I know that the US's SUV loving society (Hell they even build them locally for us in SC) won't support the import. Thanks. Mineral Grey/Golden Brown. Thanks! It arrived a few weeks ago. I have to say I didn't think the wait for delivery would be hard as I have some other cars to drive, but it was...
