Coming Soon: Hooker Blackheart for M3!

My hubby has been great at working with manufacturers over the years, letting them use his cars as test mules to develop new products. Holley Performance Products recently used his GT350R and Focus RS to develop full exhaust systems. When we were there with the Shelby, we teased about wishing they'd release a product for the M3. The engineer we were talking with has a background with higher end cars and said that Holley had been after them to pursue this market...

...Fast forward a few months and they called asking if I'd be willing to let them use my car to do this. They've been awesome to work with and took meticulous care of the other vehicles, so of course I said yes!

They've sent us these pics and video so far, with their permission to post with the disclaimer that this product is still under development so subject to change and not yet available.

I'm excited with what they have so far! I'll keep the thread updated with pics as I get them. Looking and sounding great so far!

Their comments on the video were that it sounds better in person, they felt the mic was a little too close.

Their parts are high quality for sure. Especially the Blackheart line. No clue on retail price yet. I’m just hoping for less than the Akrapovic!

Please ask them to make a mid pipe to mate to either the stock exhaust or theirs.

Sounds pretty good from the vid! Any chance we can get a fly by clip under load to get a better idea? It seems like this is non valved, can u confirm?

It will be full exhaust - downpipe, midpipe, and axleback.

I'll ask! I'm super excited to hear it myself. I wish they were closer so I could pop in and check on it. The valves will be electronically controlled.

What's the price range to be expected and estimated release date? Sounds amazing and with electronic valve control is definitely going to match the competition. I'm on the market for an exhaust system.

I don't know yet! I imagine when the product is complete and I get the car back in a couple weeks they'll give us a little more info. I'll definitely keep everyone posted.

For Reference their C7 Corvette Axle Back is about 1700, Camaro is about 1500 Axle back only

Full exhaust plus BMW tax we are talking 3k+

sounds good. exhaust might be hanging a bit low or the tips are too small. something looks a little off looking at the video.
do you happen to have a eye level shot?

I have AkrapoviÄ exhaust and I agree with others, the exhaust does sound good

Merica.... Seriously though, sounds great. Hopefully they will sell the components separately to allow folks to customize or simply add only what they'd want.
