I had the same exact set up in mind but went with SO, black, silver 19".

Wife threw a wrench in my set up and said black is needed to tone things down with SO. Well I listened.

This will look great as well. Black leather is always a safe choice, you can't go wrong with that. But I'm seriously considering to take silverstone full leather, since te contrast looks so damn good (and i liked it on the M6). But who knows, as good as I know myself, I could hesitate again when it comes to ordering...

Thanks for posting, great find. Although the photo doesn't do the color justice, I appreciate seeing it under overcast condition. I have only seen SO on an M6 in a dealer showroom under fluorescent light, and think this is the distinctive color the F80 needs.

Now just waiting for ED to open up.

I think it's a great colour, a 'blood orange'. Not too lairy, but distinct enough to noticed.

I like the color clean and in direct sunlight. This M4 was photographed under the same conditions as the M3. The M6 looks great under direct sunlight and of course artificial light.

Interesting. My wife has a different view and suggested that Sonoma Beige interior would provide a nice contrast. Oh well, we'll see in June

Just out of interest why is that an issue? You surely can't have hundreds of orange M5s driving around where you live!!!

Idk? I like that YMB and AY are M 3/4 exclusive colors. Saw a SO M5 in Coconut Grove last week. Had carbon lip/diffusor and BBS FI looked really really good.

Some colors look good on certain models and not on others. Valencia Orange that I have on my 1M was supposed to be a 1M exclusive color and now BMW throws it on every other model and I see some of them in traffic or in dealers but even owners/sellers of those other models ask 'is this the same color?'. I still prefer the slightly more orange tone of the VO but both SO and VO needs sun to pop really!

Until seeing this new M3 with SO I was just imagining that one of the whites or SS should be better options, now I have second thoughts.

Just to give a visual idea what I was trying to say; here is how mine looks in a good sunny day:

The problem is, I feel like these colors ymb/Ay/so can be pulled off nicely with the m3. Or at the least these colors are so flashy they suite a 4 door sports saloon well. The m4 on the other hand these colors don't sit too well IMO.. But I'd love to see clean pics of a SO M4 without camo. I feel like with the m4 u go with a mutual color at this point. That "right" color still needs to be found.

Im having the same issues actually. I think white is too bland and looks like every other 4 series M sport..I really wish they would offer singapore grey or san marino blue, id be all over either of those colors. Mineral Grey is flat and not deep color at all. Looks cheap imo and is avail on every BMW...YasMB is way too light blue so back to white SMH....

seen it plenty of times on M6 coupe and grand coupe. was tempted briefly to buy the coupe as it was a demo car but could not stand looking at that color. anyways i don't like it. enjoy in good health. as a red i prefer imola. as an orange Valencia Orange on the 1M was awesome.
