Do I need to buy a front splitter if I have the trunk spoiler?
So I have the carbon fiber rear spoiler (51712240832), but not the front splitter or lip. On BMW's website:
"To ensure proper driving behavior/aerodynamic balance, it is strongly recommended that the rear trunk lid spoiler be installed in conjunction with the front splitter." For a DD I imagine it's not a big deal, but I'm planning some track days this year. Is anyone running just the rear spoiler on track or know much downforce it adds? I suspect it's a non-issue but just want to cover my bases given the note on the BMW website.

Unless you're planning on routinely driving over 150 MPH I wouldn't worry too much about it
