Bmw M performance mat silver/black cleaner

Hey guys, looking for some help on what can actually clean this mat. I've tried almost everything and while wet it looks clean but when it dries it looks like this, any help would be appreciated.

What is the construction/material of the mats and what is the stain? Is is just dirt or something else?

I use chemical guys Fabric Clean (which you dilute with warm water) and a carpet brush when the mats are out on the driveway. After a quick scrub I dry them with a fan and they look great - never 100% because these mats are impossible to bring back to new.

Bought it for my steering wheel, be careful on leather though, it's slightly aggressive but it cleaned my MP mats perfectly every time. Does require a lit of elbow grease with an old rag or sponge.
Thank you, I'll have to try this, you have no idea how much these dirty mats bother me

I have not heard of this but will research them, i wouldn't mind even bringing them back close to new, right now they look like trash

I got rid of my performance mats for some carpet ones because they always looked dirty. They look great brand new but then never the same once you actually use them lol

I want these mats to work so bad lol, I'll have another go at it before consider getting rid of them, I should have coated them with something when they were new to make them resistant to staining like this

My car came with these mats and I agree with you, there were perma stains after washing (detergent and brush).

I don't think I'll be putting them back in.

PS. I put these in:

Some people may laugh but they fit pretty well and were under USD100 shipped

Agreed, these mats are ridiculously hard to clean. I actually had the best luck to strong laundry detergent. The toughest part is getting he dirt to lift from that fabric. Never again will I get this type of mat.
