New F80 Owner :) Let the modding begin!
Hi All,
I've been fortunate to own each generation of M3 and have just moved onto an F80 from my beloved E92. I go so far back that my E30 and E36 photos are actually film photos.....getting old. I've always thought that BMW M3 coupes look better than the sedan, but not with the F8X generation. Those fender flares!! In any case, here is the progression of my digital photo era M3s- 02 E46, 08 E92, and now my new-to-me 2016 F80. It's a fully optioned DCT, minus competition package and CCBs. I live in Seattle but had to travel all the way to a tiny town called Randolph Township, OH to find the exact car I wanted at the right price. I literally searched the entire country coast-to-coast. (Thank you Sarchione Ford!) I've always bought used- I simply cannot fathom purchasing a brand new one and taking the depreciation hit. I've had it a little over a week and the mods have started. So far lowered on Macht-Schnell springs and rolling on 19" pressed double-black Volk TE37SL's. Much more to come These springs are outstanding BTW. |

Exactly- they ride like basically like stock, but the car definitely feels more planted. Also, didn't negatively impact the EDC either. Love the drop too...though the chin is pretty low. |
