Is there a seperate iDrive/Infotainment/Nav manual?

So I'm about a week into Stateside ownership of a 2018 M4 (I did an ED in October) and I've just started to flip through the owner's manual. The first thing that I noticed is that there's not a separate manual for the iDrive/infotainment/nav systems as there used to be. None of those functions are covered in the main owner's manual that I have and my dealer tells me that I've got everything that I'm supposed to have.

Is that right? Has BMW done away with the separate manual for the entire iDrive system?

It's like a smartphone. You just gotta use it to understand how it works. But you can find all the manuals here. https://www.bmwusa.com/owners-manuals.html

I don't have a problem just diving into my new $1000 smartphone, but I do like to flip thru a manual to see whether there are items that I may have missed with my new $70000 car!

I do have the link that you provided (thank you!), but that only has "lite" reading. So I called the Genius line. They emailed a pdf copy of the full iDrive 6.0 manual. Nothing lite about that!

Happy now.

There is a separate manual, but you must request it. BMW will e-mail a copy or you can get one ordered from dealer. I did a thread with links if you do a search on my posts

I guess they changed it. I got one in my leather folder when I bought my M4.

Correct, it is no longer included. They expect people to use the help integrated in idrive or in the BMW app.

I see someone just posted the 6.0 version in the idrive forum, and I posted the 5.0 version in one of my old posts if you have a 2016
