ZCP vs none ZCP M3
Hey folks,
I love my 2014 none ZCP M3 as it is. But I have watched quite a few videos and I am getting confused. So for those who owns the ZCP M3/M4. What's the real difference in mechanical? 1. 444hp (software?) 2. springs, dampers, anti roll bars (all new parts?) DSC tweaks (software?) 3. tweaks in the LSD/MDM (software?) 4. same exhaust system or just some valves/flaps? everyone says it sounds louder/better? high gloss black tips 5. high gloss black kidney grills, side m3 badge, and the trunk badge 6. 20" forged wheels 7. cooler front seats but no more lumbar support and the front /// seat belts. Please correct me if there's something that I am missing or incorrect. Some say it in comfort mode it rides better than the none ZCP, is this true? hmm Many Thanks Last edited by M2withACC; 09-06-2016 at 02:41 PM.. |

Hey!
C'mon guys, If we're here, it's because we've got nothing better to do, besides, he's a Rookie (as am I), play nice! Ok., ego aside, it all depends on what you want the car (M3/M4) for. The "ZCP" is a "Competition Package", A.k.a. a Track package or a reasonable facsimile thereof. On the one side of the coin: They did some reprogramming of the ECU* and added some stronger suspension bits and the Fluff (Seats/Seatbelts/Blackened Ext. kit). There's less slippage in the rear and thus, it feels more connected to the road. Tails: It's a stiffer ride. Can't have one without the other. It's like Alchemy!! Other than that, It's the Latest and the Greatest! Cheers! P.S.: Wheels/Tires are Bigger and Wider and by being so, provide more Grip, but, at the same time, they are Heavier. * F.Y.I.: A lot of this can be had via a Firmware update Last edited by Dr. Who; 09-06-2016 at 09:44 PM.. |
