unsafe start? Wrong ticket, video shows it. I would get that dismissed. I think it is 1 point there.

Also noticed how close the cop kept up with the M3s. That must be the new Ford Escape with the S55 motors in them. I heard it was a joint venture between Ford and BMW.

Maybe that was just a test run and the siren and lights were to make sure traffic didn't hit them when they pulled over to talk about future production models?

I see a lot of negativity in this thread. C'mon now, every one got their M car because it's an M car. If that isn't the case, then you are in the wrong car buddy. I'm not trying to condone dumb actions behind the wheel but these guys had a decent stretch of clear road in front of them. I'm sure a lot of people on here did a pull here and there in "Mexico" so with that said I wouldn't judge anyone. Although, checking the mirror on their part could've saved them from those tickets.

Last but not least, props to the cop for being cool about it. I'd take that ticket any day especially if there are no points. As mentioned before, some states or some cops can crucify you for something like that.

police cars do not have tuned engines. they are all stock except for severe duty cooling systems and heavy duty shocks.
