True Colors: a Quest for a Fire Orange M4.

The Fire Orange M4 came back for another round of modifications!

The completed mod list for this phase is below:

-RKP GTS Carbon Fiber Wing
-RKP Gloss Black High Wing Mount Set
-RKP M4 Rear Closeout
-Custom 3D Printed Switch Panels to be used with USB powered accessories
-BMW OEM M4 GTS Bolt In Rollbar painted Acid Orange
-BMW OEM M4 GTS Fire Extinguisher
-Schroth M4 GTS 6-Point Harnesses
-RKP M4 GTS Harness Mounts
-Recaro Profi XL Seats upholstered with BMW OEM Black Leather, Fire Orange Stitching, M4 seat insert pattern and Illuminated ///M logo panel.

What I love most about it is the seats! So sport/classy at the same time!

Very nice but this built is aching for cs or gts hood for completion

GTS hood is now on the car! Paint was just a shade off so I'm bringing the car back next week (after a track event) to get it resprayed. I'll put the BBS/Yoko's back on (vs my track Apex/R7's) in case INd wants to take some more photos... ;-)

The wing in the latest photos is no longer the "Motorsport24" wing. I switched wings for a more functional implementation.

We are now using the BMW GTS Wing on taller Fall Line mounts. This latest wing is functional and adjustable.

(I believe INd still has my original trunk lid with the Motorsport24 wing still mounted to it. Contact them if you would like to purchase it!)

love everything except the wing. i thought that craze was just during the FnF days but i can see it still lives on!

The wing was not chosen to be part of any "craze". Its not a matter of aesthetics.

This car see's most of its time on the track (95%) and very little street time. I trailer it down to Autobahn Country Club several days a month. The wing is adjustable and proven itself to be quite functional. Its the second wing I've had on the car...

IMHO the only PROPER color for a real GTS (ala the E92 M3 GTS)!

I was a bit disappointed when BMW announced they were doing a factory M4 GTS (6 months AFTER I started working directly with M Individual in Munich to build my GTS "Tribute" car) - but glad they never sold it in the PROPER color! ;-)
