Is Comp Pack with MPE louder than MPE on non Comp Pack?

Or is it just the burbles that make the difference vs overall volume?

TIA!

Good question.. start up is louder with comp pack.
WOT i am not sure but the difference would be negligibe in terms of volume.

Any difference will be derieved from software and not hardware.

Thanks, so volume (driving) the same, just more burbles and cracks?

Anyone else care to add their thoughts? Is it louder than base with MPE?

TIA!

I'm trying to figure out as well. I have non-zcp with fuses pulled and valves open always. I'm fine with loudness but wondering how different the mpe is comparatively. Meaning what would difference be with mpe and valves locked open. My main issue is that rattle/trumpeting sound at certain throttle and rpm which I understand is the wastegates so mpe won't solve that regardless.

I have a base M3 with Fabspeed midpipe and MPE combo that was tuned. I can confirm that the volume and sound is the same except burbles on the ZCP tuned, CS tuned, GTS tuned, or otherwise tuned car, however, I think the turbo spool sound from the exhaust was much more present on the base car.

ZCP, CS and GTS ... all sound different, so how the volume and sound can be the same?

Most aftermarket exhausts are raspy or trumpeting the higher you climb RPM. The MPE is raspy at high rpm. The AA midpipe helps cut back on the trumpeting. But it really can't be eliminated just the nature of the engine

Honestly the MPE with stock midpipe and down pipe doesn't sound raspy. It just lacks volume and abit of depth.

No solution has been able to completely increase volume and depth without introducing a little rasp.

The resonated or xpipe midpipe solutions help volume and depth but remain slightly raspy when you flog the living daylights out of the car.

Unfortunately the sound of this car is its biggest let down. Listen to a C63 S and it puts our weed eater to shame with regard to sound. Good thing the car is so good in other areas.
