SO, AY, SS, or YMB?

Upgrading from my 4 series GC. Love my current colour of Tanzanite Blue, but as I am buying a demo, there are none around in Australia.

So to the choice of colour. I have had a black car and do not want the hassle of the clean, and I think white is a little plain looking for such a car as the M4.

So I would love to hear your thoughts:

Each one is gonna tell you what *they* like. You should buy what *you* like.

there isn't a color that's better than the other, it's a matter of taste.

No one should choose your clothes other than you, same goes for a car color.

Pick your poison...

I’ve had AY on an F80....it is an awesome color in person...pics do not do it justice

I like the colour personally but the wife is 50/50 on it.

You really need to see these colours in person as well I think. We live in a place with loads of sunshine 10 out of 12 months so like colours which pop in the sun.

Friends and family talked me into SO; I was not sure I wanted such an attention getting color, but now two years in on my SO/SO and absolutely thrilled I went with this color.

Colorado is very dusty; I dust the car with a California Duster and wipe it down with a detail spray here and there and the car looks spotless. End up washing it about once a month because of dust build up on the rims.

I saw a SO M4 at Niello BMW in Elk Grove and instantly knew the color I wanted. I ordered mine the SO/black full leather interior and after 4 months of waiting, I took delivery the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November 1994. After 3 years and 3 months, I'm still loving it.

I went from silverstone to sakhir. Never regretted it for a second. Got more positive comments in three months of sakhir than in three years of silverstone.......

as an owner of a yas marina, I'd like to add the following:

- SO looks amazing! ...but it doesn't photograph well and you kind of blend-in with the crowd
- AY is my favorite! Can't think of a reason against it...looks terrific with black accents
- Silverstone - looks really good in person...I mean really good. But too close to the millions of silver cars out there
- which brings me to YM - looks really special when clean, turns heads, looks great with both black and silver accents. Seems to be the most popular of the colors, which makes it less special
