Silverstone pics
Thanks - this is what I'm having built soon (except w/ SO interior) so nice to see good photos. Making me think about switching back to the silver wheels, though.
Edit: did switch back to silver wheels.

Silverstone II?
People keep calling it "II", but the order guides etc. just call it Silverstone? Is this really different than the original version?

Yea, I've been wondering the same. Wasn't so into the Silverstone on the previous generation - had a bit of a greenish/teal hue to the silver. But if "II" is more of a purish silver, then I'd be more down. Unfortunately, it's one of those colors that we'll have to see in real life to accurately judge for ourselves. |

Very nice!! I can't do the same color again though, because if someone I haven't seen in a while comes over and says "you still have the same car" I'll freaking lose it.

Color
One reason I went with SS instead of the Alpine I have now!

Silverstone on F80/F82 is exactly same as silverstone on e90/e92. Some people in e90 m3 forum still refers their color as silverstone ii. I am not big fan of this color (seen one in real life) when it shows light blue tint on it. It looks nice when it shows only silver color (indoor shots or during cloud day). |

I would really like to see a Silverstone M4 with the black wheels.
I just came back from my dealer where they just received their first M4. It is AW with black wheels. Those black wheels look awesome in real life and I think they fit the M4 better. I keep going back and forth between the black and grey wheels, I can't make up my mind . |

Black wheels
All black would be good, but the black/satin aluminum spokes on this version seem a little busy to me.

Pictures do not do them justice. You need to look at pictures taken without flash to get a better impression. They do look almost all black with just enough sparkle to make them very dynamic looking. |
