I see why stage 4 would benefit more from 100 oct, but there is still some power left untapped with 91 oct and stage 2.
Is there a 93 octane map on stage 2?

I believe stage two works with both fuels just like a stock car would. The ECU will adjust timing and boost based on fuel quality automatically. There is a noticeable difference when I blend 91/101. But you would gain more power if the car was mapped specificly for 100 octane.

As you like the rumor mill, I can start a few.

1. Dinan is working on a full cooling system......All of the various radiators and oil coolers and intercoolers.

2. Dinan turbo's produced strong gains....strong enough to spin their crank hub and cause them to rethink things. : )

3. They don't have a solution to the spun hub yet.....but it will delay the release of the stage 4 turbo's.

Just rumors, not facts. : )

The one I like is they are doing a top mount intercooler, just like the Miller one, only it will be in wrinkle black and have a "D" symbol on it. You can take my money for that one now. : ). (Or I will have to stop making up that rumor.)

Looking forward to any real news at all.

lol

1. That is what is being explored although I can pretty much rule out us doing a top mount intercooler at this point. While I think engineering wise we would love to pursue it as a bit of a challenge it has been shelved unfortunately. Instead we are focusing on the more cost effective radiators and oil coolers.
2/3. No spun crank hubs here -- sorry we couldn't contribute to the rumor mill on that front. Those threads are always an enjoyable/entertaining read.

I'd wager a black Dinan badge, you will spin one. Screw the boost up, we need Dinan to spin one so they make a guaranteed fix. (Not that I wish you bad luck or anything.....my motives were purely selfish.).

Sounds a lot like, "I'm Ron Burgundy?"

I'm dying for the big turbo upgrade so bad that I've started wandering and considering a new build or different supplier. As my DINANM3 vanity plate clearly states, I'm committed to Dinan, but I'm getting impatient waiting.

Unfortunately we are at the mercy of vendors to some degree. Seems like we get places and then we have to shelve the project for a week or 2 while we wait for some new core or what have you to come in so we finish fabrication on it and then can test that. Rinse, repeat. A lot. =/

I can't wait for the new turbo upgrade from Dinan. If it's under 5gs then I think I'm in.

Almost 3k for the current s2 piggy leaves 2k for the turbos, then add labor...5k is very doubtful but will be a welcome surprise if they can do it. I'd be interested as well.

Stage 4 is a bit farther out.

Past couple weeks have been heavy on the M2 since its being unveiled to media over Monterey Car week this next week. Everything else has taken a less then important role to make sure that thing is dialed in and as pristine as possible.

No intention to bring the SPORT line over to the M models I am afraid. In theory you may see a "PRO" line (in between sport and elite) go to the M cars but that's kind of a glean in someones eye at the moment and may or may not ever come to fruition. Personally think it would dilute the market to much but my opinion matters little.

Stage 1 is out for ZCP (507 measured factory HP, 532 with stage 1). Stage 2 should be out soon, yes?
