not care what 40yr old virgin does lol. besides, youtube videos will buy it for him, and other than entertainment, I won't get any useful information from the video. watching someone blabber about their bone stock M4 was highly boring, entertaining but useless.
thanks for the heads up though.(not really - as I think there's already a thread) |

^^ no idea why you take such offensive approach just because hes leaving m4. You try to make things sound like you dont care, but it really sounds like you got your feelings hurt lol.
Hey he can afford 140k car, let him be. Im sure many on this forum that do not need back seats and are able to afford such car, will jump on p car. Id personally go amg gts, but thats just me. Btw new panamera is fantastic as well. Id jump on it all day vs m5 or m6 gc. |

I found his M4 videos extremely helpful. Even though I don't have any interest in getting a Porsche I'll probably watch his videos. Kinda sad to know his videos are coming to an end for the M4 if you ask me.

And carrera s and 4s are not the best 911's in the range. They are the best in the range if you can not afford a GT3 or Turbo. |

Some guys out there are buying a couple cars every 12 months. If everyone with a little money made videos about the car they are buying this ramble would be so stupid

I'm just surprised he is going back so soon after all of the trouble he had with his previous 911.
I like his videos. He's just a guy having fun and actually provides some good info about the cars from time to time. Really don't get some of the comments here. Again, nobody is forcing you to watch them. |

Some people don't want a car like the GT3 for a lot of reasons and the Turbo S has been kinda made moot a little bit by all of them becoming turbos.

I mentioned it in another thread, but pair this guy with Matt LeBlanc on Top Gear and call it a day. At least he has a personality and by himself he is able to make thoughtful and entertaining video about a repeating topic.
I applaud that he gave the M4 a shot, and liked it, as we all know that the Porsche is a better and sportier car. |

The wife and I enjoy watching Nick Murray’s videos and I remember watching his video of the new 911 4S compared to the model it was replacing. I thought to myself I wonder if he will go back to the 911 from the M4. Now I know the answer to my question.
I have been contemplating either giving our F80 to my wife as a daily driver and making the transition to the 911 Carrera or 911S. In my eyes the 911 is a beautiful looking vehicle and I can see the allure of this vehicle compared to the F80/F82. Spend $110k for the Carrera as optioned or 138K as optioned for the 911 S. I think once I take a test drive I will be putting pen to paper for the purchase. |

Man, don't understand the hate at all...guy seems like a laid back and down to earth cool guy. I'm definitely in the camp that finds his videos entertaining and it'll be interesting to get a real world comparison from a M4 up to a 911.

People, it's not hate or "feelings hurt"/offended. How the hell could I be "offended" by what? that's silly talk. It isn't newsworthy or extra ordinary that a guy who makes videos about a stock car is selling said car and buying another car to likely keep bone stock and make videos.
The heck I care if he's leaving the M4....shoot, I'm actually contemplating trading my 2016 M3 that I just bought two months ago after the previous year buying a 2015 M3, for a 2015 911 GTS....but I took a bath on the 15 and seeing if I give a f@#k enough about the money I'll lose on the 2016 and whether I'll even really like the Porsche. Nick is entertaining, but a video about configurating his car, come on. At best, he's amusing. and if you actually are learning something "profound" from his videos that's because you don't read the manual or get out of the house with fellow enthusiasts. Anyway, it is my opinion, y'all can have yours and watch a dude configure his car....maybe I should make videos about how much of a dumbass I am for throwing money away and how I manage this perceived midlife crisis, before midlife actually hit. |

I found Nick's video to be disappointing without his dog or stuffed monkey. Was looking forward to this but was let down, sigh.
But in all seriousness, I get the why should we care camp but I myself tend to enjoy the videos and find him entertaining. |

Yes Murray can be a tool at times but he's just a dude who likes cars. Aren't we all? Say what you will about his videos I applaud the guy for having the stones to put himself out there and take what comes as a result. A bit surprised to see him going back to the P car, but I understand the desire. Although as some other poster said I also don't really see the quality difference to justify the price difference, it's not 50%- 100% better as price might dictate based on how you might spec either. For the $130k or so I'd spec out a 911s there are more practical options for my lifestyle. Although when the kids are out of the house it would be hard for me to say no.

This guy has always loved 911s so it's no surprise he's going back.
As a 991.1S with a 140k sticker owner what I have in performance, handling and quality are well worth the difference in price over what a similar specced m4 would be. My car is as nice or nicer than any other sports or exotic I've been in or owned. Even a several good friend who owns many Porsches and many exotics feels the same. All depends on what you value. If you just want performance and don't care about the refined and perfected details, a z06, viper or GTR will serve just fine. For those who truly want the penultimate and pinnacle of engineering in every sense, Porsche, Ferrari and a few others give you just that. |
