Video's up

I will attach to the first post.

One thing to note for people who already have Remus, you will need the adapter that comes with the axle back, it's a 2.75" adapter to 2.5".

Car sounds and looks fantastic! cheers for the video for reference.

I'm UK based got an Active Autowerkes mid pipe currently being shipped across and plan to go the Remus back box route so obviously taken interest as it'll be the set up I will have.

You mention a 2.75" to 2.5" adapter is this included within the kit for the Remus or AA? or something I'll need to source in prior to fitted?

Also been told I'll need new gaskets for the front end of the mid-pipe where it links to the downpipes.

The adapter should be provided with the Remus Axle Back.

Remus is a 2.75" pipe, vs Active 3.5 single to 2.5"

The gaskets towards the downpipes are pretty sensitive, but sometimes when removing the exhaust, they stay fully intact

I'm in Astoria regularly actually if you're around! If you want to hear it in person after the weather dissipates, I'd be more than happy to give you a ride in the car. I'm primarily in Pelham Parkway/the Bronx though.

I actually recorded some decent clips tonight.. but lo and behold, the video file became corrupted. I'll see if I can bother my wife again tonight and get it done, since it'll be snowing for the next week or two.

Wanted to bump this up to see if anyone had some additional videos now. I am considering this pairing as an alternative to my current setup. Recently installed the AA mid, ZCP rear, and stock DPs and was surprised to find out that I would prefer some additional volume. Remus + AA mid sounds quite awesome and seems quite a bit louder. I am concerned about the Remus cold start valve ringing/ratteling issue (has anyone found a fix to this yet?), so I am also considering FI and Dinan rear sections as other alternatives.

I'm in the same boat! This seems like the ideal setup for me, but the cold start rattling issue is a concern. I've contacted a few vendors and they either say they've never experienced it on their Remus installs or that it only happened to a few customers, and was earlier on - no recent reports of the rattling issue with more recent installs of Remus.

The rattling is the result of the pressure from the air flow. The 2.75" dual mid pipe creates much more flow than the single 3.5" mid pipe by active autowerkes. The remus non resonated has a lot of rattle on cold start, whereas the AA mid pipe paired to remus has no rattle on cold start.

Thanks Justin. Seems to make sense and helpful to know.
