Go with AA midpipe instead. Thats my next buy. down pipes are annoying if you have to pass emissions. Also midpipe will change the engines sound, instead of just making it louder

Factory Warranty

Does a mod as small as the addition of catless downpipes void the factory warranty? I've only had my 2018 M3 3 months and the only thing I don't like is how quiet the exhaust is, but I don't want to lose the warranty so early.

Any aftermarket part has the potential of getting flagged, I've seen it happen with just air filters and I know full track cars that have not been affected, every situation is different.

If you're worried about warranty, don't mod.

i know it's not your "expertise" per se - but if you do a M Perf HAS install along with AA mid/down pipes and upgraded rubber (275 30/r20 and 295 30/r20 with PS4S shoes) i can be there next month no problem!

We can install all of that for you if thats what you are asking. I have the Ast springs on my car and have found those to be the best all around setup for a daily driver. 1 in drop all around If you want a custom drop the Has is a good choice as well just a pain to go back to stock if you have a lease return.

Consider an axle back exhaust instead, that shouldn't void warranty.
