Installed Eibach Prokit V2s on my '17 ZCP F80

Had the local BMW store throw on the springs and do the alignment for me about a month ago. Wanted some time to drive around and get a good idea of what I thought. Very, very happy with the results. The drop is perfect for what I was looking for. Stock front end went from "4 finger width" gap to slightly less than 2. Rear dropped just a touch. Overall the ride and handling appear essentially unchanged. If anything, I would say there is ever so slightly less of a "flinty" feel over larger bumps with the suspension in comfort mode. No weird noises, no bouncy ride, no absurdly slammed look. I haven't heard or felt the front end scrape on anything. Absolutely the perfect combination of looks and performance for me.

Other cosmetic mods include 12mm front spacers, 10mm rear, and paint matched reflectors.

the drop looks great. But I am surprised that the ride is almost the same as the stock zcp's, considering the eibach spring rates are significantly softer.

Beautiful cars you have and M looks stunning. I am wondering since you have the CP package doesnt the Eibach V2 ride softer that stock CP , can you please compare stock CP ride with the eibach?

Already answered that question. Despite the slightly softer spring rates, the car rides essentially the exact same. There is slightly better ride comfort with the EDC in comfort mode over bumps than the factory suspension, otherwise the same.

Ok so i have a different question. With the Eibach springs V2 on CP vs non CP M3 what could be better for a CP car , little more power and better stock exhaust noise , suspension and ride quality would be the same. What other benefits for the CP package ?

I am also thinking if i should trade in my 16 M3 for a 18 M3 with CP and will be installing the Eibach springs , would it be worth it then?

I don't think the ride quality will be the same, if eibach v2 on zcp car maintains the same ride....which will be harsher than non cp's...

Nope. My first F80 had it and I wasn't very impressed for $2k.

I have a friend who picked up a new M4 CP late last year. He's fitted a set of the Eibach springs purely to reduce the wheel arch gap and says he can't tell the difference from stock as far as ride quality goes. I never drove his car when it was stock as he fitted the springs fairly quickly but I have driven it with the Eibachs and it does feel almost identical to my non CP car with Eibachs. His car still has the original MPSS but mine has Conti Sport Contact 6 all round. Whether that accounts for anything, I don't know... Still, it's reassuring as I have a CP car coming early September and have already purchased a new set of Eibachs in readiness.

Thanks. This was a great car. In retrospect I shouldn't have gotten rid of it as quickly as I did.
