Glad I saw this thread.. I was just about to make a post.

My weather widget has been working fine sine I purchased the car

Took the car in yesterday had the 1200 mile service performed.

Started the car and had a terrible looking digital clock

Called the service dept this morning.. they said they would look into it and call me back..

so Just waiting.. is there a reset they can do for this or

Not the biggest deal but have enjoyed having the current weather forecast on my split screen

i smell a conspiracy, clearly the designer of this awesome digital clock paid BMW some money to appear every so often...soon we'll be getting commercials on the widget...

Problem is, without the weather/clock widget I don't see a lot of use for the split screen.

We need MORE widgets to choose from.

The analog clock is so lame.

my 'send to car' from google maps has stopped working as well. I'm assuming it's related?

There is a message from BMW USA that says the server is down temporarily. No customer or dealer intervention required.

Unfortunately, BMW Online "Weather" and "Weather and Clock" Widgets have been temporarily removed due to instability.

We are working to restore functionality ASAP and will provide an update as we receive more information.

NOTE:
1. It is not necessary to try to repair vehicles with this issue as once the issue is resolved, functionality should be restored without any customer or dealer intervention.
2. Widgets are only applicable for the split screen of iDrive 4.2 vehicles.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
