Video: Akrapovic Slip-on with Active Autowerke Midpipe

I know some of you guys have been asking for videos of this setup so I finally got a chance to get some videos.
Getting everything to fit wasn't too bad. I had a fabricator make some piping to fit on the clamps of the Akrapovic slip-on and the AA midpipe so no welding was required. This way, the AA midpipe doesn't get cut up and I can resell it later on.

This is a pic of the piping that was made to fit.

Thanks for taking the time to post the videos. Great to know there's another option for us folks with the slip-on (rather than paying $$$$ to import an Evo pipe from Europe).

so the akra is short connecting to the AA mid and required additional piping? i was contemplating this as one of my choices but heard remus and dinan were the only direct bolt ons. any plans for downpipes?

edit - i think i see, you took off the last section of the AA midpipe and added the additional piping between them.

You're correct. The last section of the AA midpipe pipe was left out.

As for downpipes, I just installed a set of VRSF catless downpipes last week. I will get updated videos of the combo when I get a chance.

I don’t think it’s worth it to cut a Akra slip-on for this fitting when others like Remus are a direct fit

Hey steven26 i was wondering if you still have this pic of the piping that was made to fit the AA midpipe and Akrapovic Slip-on, I’ll be doing this setup in 2 days but have no clue on how to get them together.
Pls email me if you still have this picture much appreciated.

Sounds good but I don't think I could live with myself if I ever cut my akra. AA should make some slip on adapters for those with the akra
