Why can't BMW make Rear View Camera or PDC just be a stand-alone option or standard???

2018 is when rear camera will be standard. Until then BMW is going to screw you while they can.

Interesting no new paint choices were added.

The fact that adaptive suspension is standard now makes me think the non-zcp cars will get the "updated" suspension tuning.

Exactly! Ultimate package with free individual paint options is the real deal. Plus you get comp package included.

$25K may look scary at first but in the end, it's really all worth it.

Are we getting the Titanium Exhaust Tips with the CP or is it separate option?

What the f*ck is wrong with BMW? I would love to know how many M's were sold in this color.... Just such a non-exciting color palette...

Why assume that? I highly doubt that '17 will get the updated roll bars, diff, traction control tuning, etc.

Basically what i'm thinking is that 'better ability to put the power down' is given to the standard car as well. ZCP would be differentiated by stiffer springs and roll bars (speaking strictly of the suspension).

I think there is a software update to the adaptive suspension and diff that is available at a charge through the dealers. For '18 that update would be standard of course.

Anyone understand why Priority 1 Metallic paint is $550, however all the colors listed are $1950 Individual Paints? What P1 colors are actually $550?

Has to do with supply issues of the original paint. They can't get the original so they have a new supplier and the color will be very close to the original, but not exactly the same.

There shouldn't be any physical difference. The hiccup was a delay in the flake pigment provider catching up but the normal supplier of the final mixed materials could not produce the necessary amounts in a rush so another supplier is being used. Since the base color is easily matched by any given supplier and no change in the pigment material has occurred, there will be no visible difference.

To add some assurance...

Per BMW:

Option code: B50

Equipment Description: Sakhir Orange Metallic Paint

Change: Deleted

Models affected: All M3, M4

Details of change: Sakhir Orange changes option code to C1H, and the name changes to Sakhir Orange II.

C1H Sakhir Orange II metallic paint Added All M3,M4 models Replaces B50 Sakhir Orange. The colour is identical to B50.

Personal taste certainly varies, but it's a difficult color to capture on camera. Very similar in person to the generally admired Stratus Grey from the past. Other than a green and pure red hue (would love to see an M3/M4 in Orinocco and St. James Red), the color palette is rather diverse compared to most of the other model lines. What do you think is missing?
