Dual mass flywheel

Hey guys so I bought a f80 from auction and got it all fixed up and turns out it was hit hardenough to break the driveshaft at the coupling so I got a new one in and drives good other than having a noice when you accelerate in gear it like is making a noise from the transmission or clutch. So I took the transmission out and looked at it and I belive it’s the flywheel. I just bought already 2nd flywheel that was used and they both have the same issue it looks like. Making me think that maybe it isn’t the flywheel. When I turn just the flyhweel separate from the clutch half it makes a noise back and forth and does not return to the middle if I let it go. From wheat I read online with dmf it’s supposed to be able to go back and forth and if you push it one way it returns when you let go but all of the ones I have do not return.
