I really hope they release a non-fail video - that one doesn't tell you anything about how it sounds other than when you are sitting at a stoplight. These cars sound so different under load, it's really pointless to do a free-rev video. Doesn't everyone have a GoPro now?

If anyone in S. Fl. has after market exhaust i'll be happy to make a video for them.
Here's one I made for my 335i w/ VRSF Exhaust - and a lazy one of the stock m4 -

Sighh idk whats up with the f8x crowd.. you guys all seem so shocked at these prices for exhausts. Its nothing new! You got a 80k car.. a system from BMW performance already costs $3,875 and thats just the rear section. Honestly if price is a factor for you fella's just chop up your stock exhaust.

I don't see how that makes sense. I have no problem spending 4k on an exhaust if it's from a reputable brand (Eisenmann, Akrapovic, etc.). |

I just don't get people. People want cheap..and even more cheap. Modding is never cheap. Cant afford it shoulda bought a 370z or FRS. Price of the exhaust for the F8x is like a turbo kit for those cars. lol

Enough with all this love for sub par raspy, manufactured sounding exhausts. If my 335 can sound like a monster, the F8X sure as hell can too!!! We had a little revving exhaust game between my Meisterschaft gt 335, and an F80 in my garage the other day, and the owner of the F80 has since become really disappointed with his sound, cant blame him, the stock cars sound like ricey shit from fast and the furious... Im blown, and its why I dont have one parked next to the M6. |

Lol, so you'd rather spend more money then less? I don't think people want cheap as much as they want a bang for their buck. It's hard to justify $4K for something so simple as the back section of an exhaust that will give minimal gains at best. I personally can't justify $4K for a sound change. Just my 2 cents.

Calm down, prices will fall, it's just a matter of time, plenty of $1500-2000 exhaust for the e9x should be the same if you stay patient enough, F8x is different because many people think the sound is crap so the higher demand is creating the higher prices.
The only wheels i'd pay 8k for would be some HRE s101 but I'd need to win a mini lotto or get sponsored if I ever want to put those wheels on my car
