If it is the circuit color, then it definitely looks like a lighter shade of Laguna Seca blue. Looks like it'll be a great color.

Yes. It's a snooze fest of a GP.
It's a Hermann Tilke track with loads of runoff so that kinda limits the excitement, BUT last year's race was pretty excellent. Seb podiumed after starting in the pits and Kimi had his first win since returning...it was probably one of the best races last season.

I like this blue

I always like the color and look of this (now obsolete) rendering. The current nose is a bit busy with the cooling fins, IMO.

Hmmm...image taking?

SSII does not have any blue coloring, it just appears that way because the paint tends to reflect the sky.

Looks like the NSG in Germany is getting their own camo version of the car (?) (Code 9AC). I thought all the speciality users in Germany bought silver then wrapped their cars for use, then peeled it off for resale.

it's not Dubai GP, its Abu Dhabi Yas Marina that we are talking about here and it's another circuit.

I think Yas Marina Blue will be a mixture of Santorini Blue and Laguna Seca, touches of Blue-cyan will Metallic flake

I am one of the brave who is going to take delivery of one of the first, if not the first M4's that arrive at the dealership (its under warranty and I will just get a new one before the warranty runs out). Just like others I have had money down for awhile to lock in my spot. I love the blue colors (currently LeMans blue), but they show dirt and scratches so much. This new blue sounds interesting, but I think I am going to go with a lighter silver. My Porsche is in a light silver and it doesn't show any dirt or scratches and is so easy to maintain. Other than that I thought about white, but my S4 was ibis white and I would like to continue with the metallics.

Someone should photoshop the color on the track onto a rendered F80 picture

They could come up with a golden color, that matches the dried Texas scrubgrass in the summertime.

Where does this VIN information exist? does BMW have to do VINs for non production prototypes and still share them with the UK govt? do things like the power specs have to be 100% accurate? just curious on this process because i figure it would be a no brainier for manufacturers to keep this information secret on cars under development.

Question

Is anyone able to conform Space Grey will be available on the F80? I've decided this will be the color I'm going for as I'm sick of the upkeep of a black/dark car. Thanks in advance.
