Awesome, you guys are fast. Estimated and measures power gain? Perhaps from the pipes only?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

These are the first downpipes out for the car and are hand made in the USA, price seems justified to me.

Why buy these if you don't know what performance we are paying for?

Are these catless or high flow catted.

They look catless since there's not big bulge where the cat can go.

We finished our first set this Thursday and have not had a chance to put it on our dyno yet for power gains. We created our jig from the first set and will provide more information and videos next week as today was 4th of July.

Please keep in mind these are two pipes (compared to the N55 which is a single turbo/pipe) and require a lot more material and time to build.

yea, but this isn't an m5/m6

These shouldn't cost any more than n54 downpipes.

While the price may be a little steep you have to understand that these are hand welded in the USA where as most of the n54 downpipes on the market are made overseas.

There are various other USA made n54 downpipes that are half the price of theses.

All comes down to the fact these are the first downpipes available. Once there are other vendors making them, the price will drop significantly.

3 questions:
1. How big are the OEM cats?
2. Will you do catted DPs?
3. What's the red car on Minilites?

Which has absolutely no bearing on the functionality nor quality. Quality depends on good records, good design, tracability, skill of welder, materials, etc. Both can be equally great or equally shitty in any country.

1. OEM cats are pancaked to fit in the tight area and I would estimate them to be about 1/3 to 1/4 length of the DP (I will take pictures when they are off the car).
2. No, we will not do catted DPs.
3. It is our shop's old school Mini.

Our down pipes are constructed from only US 304 Stainless Steel (not Chinese Steel) and our welder has a proven track record for building beautiful exhaust systems for many high horsepower vehicles.
