Railings are being installed. Front doors, fireplace mantel and railings will all be stained a dark brown. I don't do well with heights so I'm glad these rails are here.

Which brown are you going with? I stained my floors Dark Walnut (minwax) and it is truly an amazing color

First 'major' hiccup. So we were planning on doing a 10'x6' island. Both the cabinet people and the granite people were aware of this. We told both we didn't want any corner post or corbels. One week before the island is suppose to go in, the granite people stated we needed to support the 16.5" overhang. No one told us about overhang island granite flex. Anyways, it's all fine now. We had L support brackets put in and reduced the overhang to 14". So the island will now be 10'x5.75".

Major updates!

So we went with granite D grade for the kitchen and all the main bathrooms on the main floor and upstairs. We went with A grade down in the garage in the 'wet bar' area along with the garage bathroom. Magnific White granite for the main levels and Dallas White granite for the garage build out.

I am surprised how nice the trim turned out. Main window photo attached.

I attached a photo of our garage build out. Again, it could have been easily a 7-8 garage, we decided to build out roughly half of it and have a bathroom and living area complete with a 'wet bar' down there.

For you fireplace people out there, you can see our mantel in the photo. I also attached the stacked brick we will be using on the fireplace.

Here is the stacked brick we chose. Keep in mind that the home will be a brown color so this brick color should really pop!

Electrical guys are there now installing all our light fixtures. Will try to take photos later on.

Are you referring to the interior? All the interior rooms EXCEPT bathrooms will be Anew Gray SW 7030. The Anew Gray is great because it changes color depending on lighting. All bathrooms will be Dorian Gray SW7017. Ceilings and trim are High Reflective White SW 7757.

I wanted to post a photo of our island lights. The wife wanted to make a bold statement. I love how the light hits off the ceiling.

Also attached is the tile we used all throughout the bathrooms and kitchen. Only difference is the size cut depending on location. This tile is called Gani Marble.

Very nice home build congrats. I just painted my house and, among others, used those exact colors in a few rooms. The Anew Gray is subtle but nice. Dorian is a darker gray then I would have picked--the wife chose it--but it looks nice in the space, it's in a bathroom as well.

Sorry if I missed it but did you say the plan for the garage? Flooring, walls, etc..

love the kitchen, but personally I would have gone with black cabinets, if I may say so. Maybe even those with translucent glass. With the gray wall and marble, black would look badass.

Anew Gray definitely turned out great. In one room, the color shows differently on multiple walls.

Regarding the garage, I'll probably be painting it myself the Anew Gray. Short term, I will be only parking my M4 in there and keeping it simple. Once we move in, I would to focus on my 6000 gallon koi pond. Attached is where it is going with a 15' mini waterfall/stream. Equipment attached as well.
