Just picked up my YMB M3..

Picked this beauty up on Friday night, managed to 'only' put 200 miles on her this weekend

I love how this car can look completely different depending on the amount of sunlight.

I'll admit, I liked seeing pictures of it with the black rims - but silver - in person, looks amazing too! I will probably get some black rims for winter tires and change it up for a few months

Now to order a cable and figure out this coding thing

The coding is well worth learning how to do it because it can really bring out that little extra in your car. She's a beaut!!

So good with the silver spokes. And the color will keep changing forever, it's truly one of the most dynamic colors I've ever seen on a BMW.

Thanks Everyone! I'm using this as my DD as well, first commuting day today..and love love love it! I know there is a lot of negativity about the exhaust/sounds in the car, but, hearing the turbos spool up, throttle blips on downshifts, the rumble of sport plus engine setting in a parking garage....drool

The only thing that sucks is sitting in traffic!

I really didn't pay much attention to the 'technology' at all when I was looking at this car. It wasn't until I started playing around with iDrive/connected apps/etc where I was pleasantly surprised. I came from an E70 X5, and the jump from that version of iDrive to this is remarkable. For anyone looking to buy a new M3/M4 - I'd skip the carplay. The built in Maps/connected apps are far superior. I only wish it had Waze integration with turn directions in the HUD

The one thing I prefer in carplay is the voice recognition with Siri. It's pretty spot on for things like directions/calling people.

I DD my F80 as well. Code out the active sound and the experience is MUCH better! Less droning and more "real" sounds are less annoying at cruising speeds.
