Good find, I'm sure once bimmerpost can get their watermarks on a copy it will be posted in it's own thread. Looks like base MSRP went up $200 but you get a rear camera as standard? Damn, going to be lots of happy people now.

This is by far the best value out of all the model years. Metallic paint is back at $550 from $700 in 2017. Rear view camera is standard with only $200 increase to base price. Executive package is a bargain at $2100 with what they've thrown in there.

I think they HAD to include rear view camera in 2018 as standard equipment due to US regulations, so lets not give them a "pass" on that.

Just noticed under the executive package, "ZPX will add 508 to the order". 508 is PDC which is a $750 option. That $750 isn't included in the price of the executive package right? Making the package really $2850.

It needs to be in cars by May 2018, not module year 18 cars. I think everyone here was expecting them to wait until the last moment (15 months from now) and increase the price by $500+ for just the camera. After all the brand new 5 series doesn't come with one standard, and it's not even a standalone option. that's crazy.

Very nice re-packaging from BMW NA with good value for the customer. The exec package is very compelling for $2100.

I'm jealous We're getting screwed again here up north

So does anyone know if the M3 gets the same changes as well? Assuming it'll be announced around May or so.

Did anyone see that LED fog lights are standard as well? I don't believe this was offered in the past MY's.

5A1 LED Fog Lights
That would be unusual. M cars haven't had fog lights for at least the last 3-4 generations, if at all.

I don't think so. If you take into consideration the exchange rate of 1.33 to 1.34 that we're at right now I would argue we are ahead by a few ks if not 10k+

M
You cannot really factor the exchange rate when comparing value. If that were the case, I really got screwed back in 2014 when I purchased my M4 when CAD was at parity with the USD. Personal income of a local market does not fluctuate with exchange rate. You need to compare how the value proposition evolves through time in the local market. And we are not getting better value with MY2018 in Canada.

The 2018 announcement here on bimmerpost had a photo of a black full leather interior with red contrast stitching everywhere.

This order guide shows a special "pretty please, mother may I?" black full leather option that has silverstone contrast stitch -- if regional rep blesses it.

Does that mean the red stitch isn't offered standard but rather has to be a full-on individual (read: $$$) order? If yes then that earlier photo was a bit misleading. I'd go golden brown if I can't get red stitch without paying $8k or something crazy.

Did the metallic paint price went down from $700 to $550? That's a head scratcher.

Liking what I am seeing, finally BMW come to sense and make many options individually selectable as they should be! Hope the same pricing applies to M3.

If the trend continues yes, except the 2018s won't be in production till the summer. So expect pricing May/June
