slight car roll when turning car off... cause? should I be concerned?
a couple of months ago I noticed that my car would have a slight roll when I turned the car off, specially if the surface was not flat.
Specifically, at my house's driveway or at work, where there is a very slight slant, as soon as I turn off my car and it shows the transmission in "P" and I Let go of the brakes, it will roll for a few degrees (~ few inches). In certain cases, even in a flat surface (inside the garage) it will show this behavior..... What is the cause here? It never used to do this, and it is becoming more and more noticeable. Is this something with the braking system? could it be something with the transmission? any ideas?

Relying on the DCT parking pin to hold the car is not a wise move.

The only thing you should know regarding the M-DCT is that it behaves like a manual, so treat it like one.
Do not leave M-DCT to put it in park on it's own. Always pull the parking brake first before you turn the car off. This isn't a PDK.

Keep your foot on the brake until after you've engaged the parking brake and put the car in P/off.

ok, thanks guys.
I've never used the parking break (ever since my DCT on the e90 M3), but I guess I'll start doing that now.

Keep your foot on the brake, put the car in N then engage the ebrake. Turn the engine off, then push it again so it goes into park. Just do as you would a manual gear box.
