Service Packs

I note that service packs now cover servicing costs for up to 3 years or 36,000 miles.

Now, when I bought my M4 in September 2016, I am positive the pack was 4 years and 50 or 60k miles. I can't find anything where that is written down now so if it is 3 years and 30,000 miles, I won't get anywhere near my money's worth out it

I'm just about to book in her 1st real service (after running-in one) at 17,500 miles so no way will I get in the big one with spark plugs etc which will not be until around 35,000 miles.

Anyone else who bought around my time able to confirm what the service pack limits were? Or were you all too wise to fall for the hype? (if so - spare my feelings and keep shtum please )

Thanks, Jon

Mine's a 2016.

5 years or 50k miles, whatever comes first.

How much was it? Mine was £1,100 inc VAT.

I've done 23k miles in it now, says another 15k miles before the next service is due. So you may only get the RIS and the first service done.

Just for the record I found the online check that told me this: -

CONGRATULATIONS YOUR BMW HAS SERVICE INCLUSIVE!
Your BMW is covered by BMW Service Inclusive which lasts for 5 years or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first) and covers the cost of your vehicle’s comprehensive servicing requirements.

So on that basis, I should get this and the next service covered which will have made it worthwhile.

Cheers

Yes. It wouldn't be worth it now at 3 years and 36k.

Mine was the same price as far as I can remember. Or £1200
