Nuh. I have in on my 2018 F80, overrated.
The display is a bit too far, the check boxes or other item are too small to touch without looking, and it smudges too easy. The added functionality is not a deal breaker.

I agree. I really don't think I'd use it that much, but it would just be nice if they had the same functionality in the same cars (M3 and M4). And why did the F30's get the digital dash and the F80's still haven't?

You can run a VIN report, or you can look in your door sill. It's the black one on the bottom with your VIN on it.

I wish there could be a split screen that showed both the rear view and the top view simultaneously like in my wife's G30. If they can do it in one model, why can't they do it in another model?

I agree. There are so many things that would be so obviously so simple for them to do with some software changes that they just don't for some reason.
