I get the same error message about "no gps" on my weather app while my navigation and everything else is working fine. This happens every once in a while. Sometimes it lasts a day sometimes a few days. Frustrating to say the least especially when I like seeing the weather early in the morning while driving to work

my connected services expired and I renewed it again and now split screen content/bmw online/widgets none work whatsoever. bmw guru tells me to bring it back to the dealership to get it provisioned and still same problem. if i go straight into connectdrive, split screen seems to work there but not from the main menu split screen content

I renewed mine 2015 M4 online and the widgets don't work but everything else does, I'm going to phone the Geniuses and see what's up.

Does anyone recognize this error when they try to put the weather widget on the split screen or any of the widgets?

This happened to my mothers X3 after I renewed her services for her when they expired. You need to go to the dealership to get software sent remotely to your car. They did it and within a week it came back. It's a software issue that BMW is aware of I think. Just make sure your car has the original Vehicle Order in place. I coded extended bluetooth when it was new and I had to code it back after I was told I couldn't get that signal until that was done. To avoid this you need to renew before it expires. Hope this helps.
