I've been experimenting with different configurations of the M Buttons for different situations but haven't really settled on one config that make sense for daily driving. Currently setup as:

I tend to switch these around but right now it's with the wife in mind.
I did M1 for fun - making a MDM a manual button push for safety sake).

Decided to make the M2 all mild for easy change from any accidental button pushes or resets (again wife friendly). Its nice to dial it all down when I want to relax and just cruise.

M1:

M2 is only used when no one else is in the car.

I find the sport plus steering overly heavy and not giving me increased road feedback. Sport is the sweet spot.

S3 shifting really doesn't help on the road, that slight little ease in on the S2 mode is 90% as snappy and doesn't jerk the whole car around under hard acceleration.

You really have to be on your game with DSC off, and the real nature of the car comes out. I find I really want the windows open when DSC is off so I can hear the traction breaking and more easily find my thresholds.

I left DSC On for M2 just for safety, its a bit dangerous to even go into MDM imo unless you are really paying attention. Also debating setting the throttle to just sport as I feel it is too on-off for street use.

I am still pissed that we cannot configure the start-up defaults . Even worse is that when you turn off an M-Mode, it reverts back to the start-up default instead of remembering your last configuration . So I have to waste an M-mode with a comfortable DD setting so I can toggle between the two .

M1 is for daily drive through traffic and residential areas. I dont like to drive like a dick on enclosed roads.

M2, as stated is full on "Attack mode." This car completely comes alive in these settings. The HUD setting is best in M view. I find the standard view boring IMO.

I Love that this car has 2 customizable personalities. If only I could get my gf to be the same way

M1, sports+ in all
M2 same but the annoying tire saver still on. I love pressing the TC button on my own. I feel needed.

I drive only on M2, and usually before hitting something else than my home street the TC goes off too. The one time the start up mode was left on, I actually pulled over to inspect what was wrong with my car.

I have the HUD set for the M display all the time, although while autocrossing I have never even noticed what it shows, I figure if you are looking at the HUD you must be driving slow.

I'm really surprised at the number of people using sport plus settings. The throttle in sport plus seems more like an on/off switch, I was slower with that in autocross as I can't control the throttle well enough to keep the back end where I want it to be. I was actually thinking about setting the throttle to comfort at the next autocross to see if that gave me even better modulation.

I agree with the comment about not being able to set the start up modes. I also wish I could enable rev matching in sport +

Dynamic mode will allow you to slide the car around a little bit in turns, but traction control still seems enabled because I can't spin the tires under acceleration out of slow corners.

DSC off means no assistance at all. When you want to go drifting turn the DSC off and put the throttle and shifting in sport plus, you won't be able to keep the car straight then.

For drag racing you need DSC off in order to use launch control I believe. For Autocrossing DSC off but I need to keep the throttle and shifting in sport in order to be able to modulate the throttle through turns.

For everday driving I personally don't see any instance when I would use Dynamic or DSC off mode.

Maybe yours is broke? Mine has a huge difference in throttle response and how hard it shifts between comfort and sport plus.
